Find the Wi-Fi Network SSID and Password
How to find the Wi-Fi Network SSID and Password?
✍: Guest
Before you can connect to a Wi-Fi network, you will need to know the name of
the network (the SSID) you want to connect to and the password that secures it.
If you just installed a new Wireless modem or router, you can usually find the default SSID and password printed on the back/bottom of the Wireless modem or router.
If you are connecting to an old Wireless modem or router, the SSID and password could be changed, so you need to find it from your notes. Or you can press the reset button to change them back to default.
If you are connecting to a public Wi-Fi service, its SSID is usually the name of the service provider like "ABC Airport". And there is no password required in most cases.
