Stopping App Running in Background on iPhone
How to stop an app that are running in the background? I have many apps in the background and I want to stop some to save battery power.
✍: FYIcenter.com
Stopping an app that is running in the background is simple:
1. Double-tap the home button. You see a list of all running apps on your iPhone.
2. Swip horizontally to locate the app you want to stop, like "Weather".
3. Tap and hold on the snapshot of the app above the app icon.
4. Swip the snapshot up until it's half way out of the top edge of the screen. The selected app will be stopped.
5. Swip up more app snapshots to stop more apps.
