How to transfer files between Samsung Galaxy SM-T210R Tablet and a PC (Windows or Mac) using USB cable?

Here are the steps to connect your SM-T210R Tablet to a PC and transfer files using USB cable:

1. Plug in the USB charging cable to your Tablet.

2. Plug in the cable to a USB port on your PC.

3. On your Tablet, you should see the following notification:

(USB) Connected as a media device
  "Touch for other USB options"

4. Touch the "Touch for other USB options" line in the notification. You should see two options:

Media device (MTP)   [x]
  Allows you to transfer media files in Windows, 
  or using Android file transfer on a Mac. 

Camera (PTP)         [ ]
  Allows you to transfer photos using camera software, 
  and transfer any files on PC that do not support MTP.

5. On your Windows, your Tablet should show up in the File Explore. You can drag and drop files between Windows and Tablet.

6. On your Mac, open Android File Transfer. You can drag and drop files between Mac and Tablet.
