home screen or main menu screen (other than when you are playing
multi-media files), press and hold the volume down button. The vibration mode follows
the silent mode.
2. Touch Settings > Sound > Vibrate to set the phone to vibrate.
To mute the phone, select
Ringer Volume, which is on the same menu page as the Phone Vibrate option, and then
drag the volume bar all the way to the left.
